TradeStrike · Account & data deletion

Delete your TradeStrike account

This page explains how to delete your TradeStrike account, what is removed, and what we keep.

It applies to the TradeStrike mobile app (com.tradestrike), published by TradeStrike on Google Play and the App Store.

Deleting your account does not affect your crypto

TradeStrike is a self-custody wallet. Your accounts are secured by a passkey on your own device, and your funds live on public blockchains — not on our servers. Deleting your TradeStrike account removes the data we hold about your wallet. It does not move, spend or destroy any crypto, and your wallet stays recoverable with your passkey or recovery phrase.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. These can each be deleted individually from within the app, and are removed from our systems immediately:

DataWhere
Saved contacts Settings → Contacts, then delete the contact
Watchlist entries Open the coin, or your watchlist, and remove it
Price alerts Open the coin → Price alerts, then delete the alert

Removing a wallet account (Settings → Manage Accounts) hides it and stops it syncing, but is reversible — re-importing the account's passkey restores it. Use account deletion below if you want that data permanently removed.

How to request account deletion

From the app

  1. Open TradeStrike and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Read the summary, then slide Slide to delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. You are signed out immediately.

If you no longer have the app installed

Email support@tradestrike.io with the subject Account deletion request, and include at least one wallet address from the account so we can identify it. We will confirm by reply before anything is scheduled.

What happens next

A deletion request does not take effect immediately. Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days after the request, and every active session is signed out straight away.

During those 30 days you can cancel. Sign back in, open Settings → Delete Account, and tap Cancel Deletion. Signing in on its own does not cancel the request — you have to cancel it explicitly.

After 30 days the deletion runs automatically and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

Permanently removed from our systems when the deletion runs:

CategoryIncludes
Account & wallets Your user record, wallet accounts, wallet addresses and cached balances
Security credentials Registered passkeys and all sessions
Devices Device records and push-notification tokens
Your content Saved contacts, watchlist and price alerts
Derived data Profit-and-loss checkpoints, cost-basis ledgers, swap routes and trade intents

What is kept, and why

Transaction records are retained. We are required to keep records of financial transactions for legal, accounting and anti‑money‑laundering purposes.

When your account is deleted these records are de‑linked: every reference connecting them to your account, your wallet addresses and your devices is removed, so what remains cannot be traced back to you through our systems. Retention period: as required by applicable financial-record law.

Separately, transactions you have made on a public blockchain are recorded on that blockchain permanently. That data is outside TradeStrike's control and cannot be deleted by us or by anyone else.
